!968 #1 song on Billboard Charts. Upbeat TV produced this video that was televised across the country. The Ohio band was signed to Buddah Records and could not produce a hit record of their own. Record execs commissioned this song that the band reluctantly recorded. Lucky they did. This is their only song that took off. 9 years later guitarist Bill Bartlett experienced a flashback on another one and only hit "Black Betty" by Ram Jam. I think that might be a record!!!
